Japanese musician Fumie Hihara and myself are currently working on a performance called La Danse Céramique (or the The Ceramic Dance, in English).

Divided into four parts, this 20-minute show puts on stage the making process of a ceramic piece through the four elements (earth, water, air and fire). It will be supported by on stage live music, blending traditional instruments from Japan (Koto, horizontal string instrument) and Benin (Gan, percussion in the shape of a double iron bell).

A video of the performance will be released soon, followed by a series of live shows for which dates are yet to be determined.
