WHITE TOTEM OF LIGHT – PYRAMIDS OF GIZA

Monumental sculpture White Totem of Light was presented as part of Forever Is Now V, an international exhibition curated by Art d’Egypte under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and under the patronage of UNESCO.

Running from November 11 to December 6, this remarkable event brought together 10 artists from around the world, whose creations entered into dialogue with 4,500 years of history, with the Pyramids themselves standing as timeless witnesses.

Materials: ceramic shards from the Cairo-based Sheeni Ceramic and Porcelain Manufactory.
